Elephant Man

The treatment of the Elephant Man is a reflection of what we are as a society.  On a daily basis people are treated unjust just for the color of their skin.  Individuals that have not been blessed with stunning looks or may have been born a little bit different, deserve the same respect.  All individuals owe it to themselves to treat people the way that they would want to be treated.  The most beautiful of individuals can become the most ugly of individuals if their attitude and level of respect is low.  Just like the ugly duckling turns into a swan.  All individuals have a little swan in them if they decide to display it.
